ABOUT ME
I especially enjoy working with children, families, seniors, and athletes. I have extensive teaching experience and have worked with students from preschool to college age. I have lived experience with illness and loss within the family and understand how challenging it can be to navigate life transitions or be a caregiver.
Equestrians and athletes hold a special place in my heart, as well as a place of interest in my doctoral research. I have participated in sports most of my life. I've experienced wins and losses, as well as injuries and recoveries. I know what it's like to transition to another stage or phase of competition and the frustration and sadness that comes with the inability to compete. I have followed horse racing and equestrian sports since childhood. I understand the passion and love that draws people to work with horses and the pain and grief that comes from loss or with transitioning to a new career or role.
